This short 5-day Annapurna Foothills trek is a small circuit Trek that travels into the cultural Gurung settlements and the mystic woodland of Rhododendron. It is a valley inhabited by the GURUNGS, also known as the 'TAMU', an ethnic group in the hills and mountains of Western Nepal.
They have their own unique culture, language, and traditions. Besides Buddhism, their belief has a beautiful blend of Hinduism, Shamanism, and their own traditional cult. All these make their culture very exclusive in nature.
As we progress further with our trekking, we walk into the forested land densely covered with Pine, Oak, Birch, and especially Rhododendron. This classical trek paces deep into this mystical woodland, which is very rightly termed the 'Lord of the Rings Trail'.
This area certainly is one of the largest Rhododendron growing areas in the world. During springtime, the trail here assumes the name of 'Wedding Trail' as the varied color Rhodos fall on the trail, it aptly looks like a beautiful flowery trail set for the bride to walk over.
This beautiful trek carries you to a heaven-like, dramatic setting with charismatic views. Further, it offers unique Gurung culture and villages, enchanted forested trails, and the most serene wonderland.
